Brian and Laurie Nejmeh were married in 1985 and live in Lancaster PA. They have three children and their oldest daughter, Mary, born 10 months into their marriage in 1986, is multiply disabled. Raising a child with a disability has led them on a life long journey to help individuals and families affected by disabilities. They have served on several Boards, counseled young couples, taught a college course (“Disability in American Society”), led support groups, written articles and spoken at various church and business retreats on the topic of disability.
Brian is a software entrepreneur. He was also a Professor of Computer Science and Entrepreneurship at Messiah College for 16 years. Today, Brian is actively working as a product and market strategy consultant to the tech industry.
Laurie has a Masters in Counseling and works to support individuals through counseling and mentoring. Brian and Laurie have used their life experiences, personal struggles and professional backgrounds to present a message of hope to those whose lives have been affected by disability.
